Portland Wrestling Complete Show 9/7/1985 You Tube Video + Program

 This is probably the second or third time I'd gotten to go to the Sports Arena. The S&S Express were my favorite team! Steve Simpson was my favorite wrestler. The first night we went to the Sports Arena, we waited in the parking lot after the matches to get autographs. Steve and Ricky Vaughn were riding together, and after we got their autographs, we went running back to my mom's car. I slipped and fell. Steve Simpson jumped out of the car, ran over to check on me, scooped me up (I was 9), and carried me to the car. After that, he was my favorite!

Northwest Canadian Wrestling News - Wrestling World Article - 1988?

Most wrestling magazines covered very little Portland Wrestling, but I always liked

to pick up magazines with articles that included Portland wrestlers.  This article focuses on 

what is happening in Canadian wrestling at the time but mentions many current(at the time), and future Portland Wrestlers.

This event was held January 21, 1986 at the Portland Memorial Coliseum.

I didn't attend, but they did sell the programs and T-Shirts at the Sports Arena merch 

table until they sold out sometime in 1987.

I think it's interesting that they decided to use the program to update fans

on wrestling from all over the country.

I decided to take a break from the 1990 programs and focus on the OPWF promotion from 1994.

This promotion ran at the Mount Scott Community Center Gym on Saturday nights.

Portland Wrestling on Facebook has a great article on the subject, which inspired me

to get those out and scan them!
