Bart Sawyer - Steven Wayne Stewart 1963-2023

Bart Sawyer passed away last week.  So sorry to hear about his passing.  I didn't get to know him well, but he was very nice to me whenever we talked.  He was always so dynamic and gregarious in the ring and in interviews.  He had great patience for all of the little kids that just loved him so much.  He bought me a beer on my 21st birthday and told me not to make it a habit.  Don't worry Bart, I hate beer!  😃  Rest In Peace friend. Scroll all the way down for the official obituary.

Bart Sawyer looking through my scrapbook.  He wrote comments on several of the pages!

Jody and Bart Sawyer (I think he was still Steve Sawyer at this point.)

He did kind of look like a grown-up Bart Simpson, didn't he!

My friend gave Bart that shirt the week before this event.
