Every week after the show, I would ask the person at the ticket counter if I could have the posters and eventually they would just save them for me and have them waiting after the event.
This blog is for my memories of Portland Wrestling and yours. The years being a fan were some of the best years of my life!

Billy Jack Haynes Oregon City Gym ~ Business Card
When Billy Jack Haynes opened OWF (Oregon Wrestling Federation), in 1988, he also opened a gym. The OWF arena was in an old skating rink in the Oregon City Hilltop Mall. Just across the parking lot, Billy Jack opened a small gym. It was all windows and you could see your favorite wrestlers working out on a regular basis, or work out with them, if you were a member of the gym.
After Billy Jack's money troubles began, the gym was bought by someone else, and remained the Oregon City Gym for a couple of years. Many wrestlers still worked out there or at least wore the t-shirts to the arena.
