Complimentary Portland Wrestling Ticket

I got these tickets for various reasons over the years.  I once won the 12 and under category of the costume contest. I was dressed as Buddy Rose and my friend was Avalanche in the Beach Boys.  Mike Miller gave me some at an autograph signing at the Clackamas Town Center.  We were the only ones who showed because it had snowed that day.  I wasn't going to miss it! And, I won the Lucky Number program a few times.  I don't have a complete ticket.  I used all of mine!  

I always that the $2 for the athlete's injury fund was interesting, as I always heard that didn't exist. Does anyone know any different?

1985 Wrestling Buttons ~ Steve Simpson, Ricky Vaughn & The S&S Express

1985 was the first year I ever went to a live wrestling event at the Portland Sports Arena.

Obviously, I had the time of my life and couldn't wait to go back as often as possible!

Throughout 1985 I collected these pins from the biggest stars of the day, Ricky Vaughn(left), Steve Simpson(right), and the S & S Express, which was Steve Simpson and "Jumpin'" Joe Savoldi.
